air balloons in the skies

these three air balloons flew past my window the other day. pretty sure they had a spectacular view from up there. the pink balloon was massive. on the last picture you can see it has this large basket with a whole bunch of people in it. would love to fly around in one of those. 

simply breakfast

got inspired to make this omelet sandwich here. didn't really follow the recipe it was more the picture. Just made a regular omelet then added mushrooms and goat cheese, sourdough bread and avocado. a really good breakfast!

trädgården | sneaker swap

saturday we had great weather for a change and the city was buzzing. went to sneaker swap at trädgården and had smørrebrøds lunch. it didn't beat halvvejen's smørrebrød i wrote about here. so nice hanging in the sun, eating and hip hop blasting from the speakers. on our way home we stopped at tantolunden where another girl was spinning records. she played a little danish hip hop as well with natasja...you can listen here.  totally girl power dj day.

things i do enjoy | blue bottle coffee

when we were living in williamsburg one of my favorite coffee spots was blue bottle coffee at berry st. i like that the good old drip coffee is back in style. must say i do enjoy a good simple cup of coffee. on the top picture we're sitting on the corner stoop and added a brownie from the mast brothers to the mix. wrote about those amazing guys here. i really like these videos where you can feel the people behind is so dedicated to exactly one specific thing...reminds me of a movie i saw a couple of weeks ago, but that's for another day...  

discovering our city | gildas

they do love their fika [fee-ka] here in sweden. translated it's coffee and cake break and who dosen't love that combination! the other day we went to gildas to enjoy fika. had the carrot cake and blueberry crumble and it was good. really like the idea of serving the whipped creme and custard in old vintage coffee cups.

avocado lime popsicles

been thinking about avocado popsicles lately and got inspired from the recipe over at a cup of joe. did swop water for coconut milk, changed sugar for agave (like this kind) and added 2 tbsp of lime juice and zest from a 1/2 lime. right now i'm dreaming of cheesecake but that's a whole other story. had a lovely lavender blueberry cheescake at the broken arm in paris (psst they have the best coffee in town)...sounds insane, and it was.
